To whom it may concern :
On December 23, 2017, ten thousand Koreans wishing for peace on the Korean Peninsula gathered at the Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul, Korea. The 2017 Korean Peninsula Peace Rally urged North Korea to cease the development of nuclear weapons and long-range ballistic missiles, South Korea and the U.S. to halt joint military exercise against North Korea, and North Korea and the U.S. to engage in unconditional dialogue.
The Peace Foundation, which organized the rally, is a prominent civilian think-tank in South Korea. It boasts an extensive member group that not only conducts policy research but also actively participates in the peace movement. My colleagues at the foundation and I have also dedicated our time and effort in providing humanitarian aid to North Korea and establishing peace in the Korean Peninsula for the past fifteen years.
The signed message of peace carries an earnest wish for the end of the war and establishment of peace on the Korean Peninsula. We ask for active support and encouragement from you and your organization. Thank you.
